4 weeks and many firsts!

Riehl turned 4 weeks old this last week. I guess today he is officially a month old. Man it really does fly! He had a lot of first this last week too! Grandma Risner came out to visit and brought CUZ Kate. This was the first cousin he got to meet. While they were here we did a lot of running around. He made his first trip up in the mountains, but we didn't go WAY up there, only to Idaho Springs. (Thursday) We took Kate to the Argo Gold Mine to pan for Gold and Gem Stones. He seemed to enjoy sleeping while we had some fun. He made his first trip to REI, but that was short lived because he was getting hungry :)That night he got to meet Uncle Jeff (from Chicago) for the first time. On Friday we made the trip to Boulder for our first HIKE with Grandma, Kate, and Uncle Jeff! Yes, that felt great to be outdoors and hiking through the mountains, we all enjoyed that! Sat. he enjoyed yet another hike!!! This time we hiked with all the Hilliard boys, uncle Joel, Uncle Jeff, daddy and mommy. Finally, Saturday Riehl enjoyed his first baseball game at Coors Stadium cheering on the Rockies against the Padres. It went extra innings so we had to leave to get little man to bed. I was surprised how well he did with all the noise and a slight breeze. We had him pretty well bundled though. So, many firsts were accomplished this week and Riehl turned a month old. Daddy is really enjoying his weekend time with Riehl and is the best dad any child could ask for. I too am really thankful for him and all his help and patience with the two of us!!! Now I think we are off to have our first picnic at Wash Park! Pics coming soon of all these first, but here are some others!
